I liked this story very much. It reads really easy and works well towards the ending. Very funny. Puts a smile to your face.

Hi Jimi, Kids say the darndest things! I used to love listening to Art Linkletter, and sometimes even Bill Cosby.
I like the way you told this story, from a little girl's point of view... sincere, honest, to the point. Very cute!
I especially liked Daddy's way of giving his special toys a name...like Bessie and Myrtle. And "little people/letter people"... "alphabet people". Good way to teach kids their letters!
This was well-written, Jimi. I found no mistakes. I like the artwork you chose, looks like a messy bedroom... toys everywhere.
Nicely penned!
your fan,
Kimbob ((hugs))

Ah, ha, Buffy the Vampire? Lawnmowers can be cantankerous things at the best of times; most amusing and sweet story which I enjoyed reading. Children have an entirely different logic to us - loads of fun my friend. Blessings, K.

Yhis is really cute and a fun read from Buffy's innocent viewpoint, Jimi.

Lots packed into the fun with the background of the lawnmpwer and Chevy creating Dad's personality. The fun mix-up the 'screw loose' saying, and my fave part - Mr B and Mr Z at school. I wonder if they have messrs Q, Z and X. :-)

Lots of fun and very well written.

Best wishes, Ray

What a truly funny story. So very real and perfectly told from a child's point of view.

It has charm and a wonderful assignment of characters, every one, right down to the mooching neighbour.

What a terrific learning method frof children!

Well told, an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed reading this story it made me laugh. I like the way it is written from a child's perspective. It is amazing how children process information and think about things and you have captured this well in this true story.

Children are indeed extremely and outrageously funny at times. Some of the things they say and do are just so naturally spontaneous that you couldn't write it or make it up. This story has been a lovely welcoming read to me as i settle myself into the early part of my morning. Thankyou for posting this up. A fantastic little read.(By the way, i hope mummy didn't get into too much trouble with the teacher!)
