If Christ has not been raised, Christian preaching is useless and so is our faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead.

Amen, Mae. I could not have said it any better, my friend.
Thanks for the kind review.

hi dean
what a surprise
we readers usually see the dark side of your artistry
and now you gift us and display a softer quiet side
but fear not mr. dean
you still remain an artist
you still remain the composer with attention to detail
thank you for sharing

Thanks, Ann Marie, I'm very pleased that you think so. I'm afraid I've entered my last 5-7-5, haiku, senyru or 3-4-3 poetry contest for awhile. Nine attempts and no better than second, and second doesn't replenish your funny money account.
I'll stick to writing horror stories. Yet, even then, I'm not so sure.
Thanks for your review.

Greetings Dean, This is so simple, but awesomely beautiful. Truth is usually simple and beautiful, though. Well worded and lovely art to complement. Well done!

Jesus
resurrected
rejoice
This piece meets the criteria of the 2-4-2 writing prompt as the syllable count is spot on. The photo and message is beautiful. It doesn't get better than this. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank, my brother, I appreciate your generous rating and genuine review. Unfortunately, as I have been wont to do lately, I lost this contest to a post on autism.
I do appreciate your well wishes, however. Thanks again.

A great verse, excellent word economy, you packed a lot of meaning into the 2/4/2 prompt. I liked the subject you've chosen, your picture and the animated pictures below. I think, I know who this is, but I may be wrong (smile).
Good luck in the prompt, love, Y.

Thank you, Yelena. I rarely espouse my faith, as some get readily offended by it. But I did this time, just this once.
Thanks again for your kind and generous review.

Because He lives, we can live also. I love the message conveyed in this poem. I like the idea that we can rejoice because He lives.

I love the picture. I love the poem. You are so right, It needs no definition. God gave his only son. The least we can do is to act like we deserve the sacrifice. Great work. Good luck with the contest.

Boy you said it all in those 8 syllables. This is very profound and a great entry. I wish you well in the contest.
