Hello, Steve.
What an excellent poem! I see that you came in second place, personally, I thought this was the winning entry. You demonstrate a fabulous command of the English language and I just adore the tongue twisters.
A great read for young and old alike.
My commiserations, Steve.
Kind regards
tracey

Hi, Tacey.
Thanks for the great review.
Yes, I had high hopes for this one, but the voters, bless their hearts, found one better - it was an excellent poem.
There are four of these Gobbledegooks poems now and I hope to get them published one day.

I have a list for you that maybe helpful.
If you google 'words used in Balderdash' the name of a word game, there you will you find the most amazing words you have ever seen and their definition. :)

Hi there,
I would say that you have included witches and fairies very well into your very entertaining children's poem.. I intend to read your previous chapters as well.
In this entry, the 'Gobbledegooks' have it for sure.
Good luck, I can't imagine any being better.
:-) Carolyn

Alliteration and rhyme in abundance. Bravo.
Tongue twisters are always a welcome for children, and this is no exception.
A very clever write indeed.
Best wishes,
RGstar

Hi Steve,
Well, this was a fun little romp through the land of the Gobbledegooks...and isn't just like men, wizards included, to sit around arguing over who's wand is longer? Lol. (Hope the kids don't see this review!)
You develop a wonderful setting and characters with strong meter and rhyme in this solid enrty...well done.
My best for its success! Bill

Now you are the only reviewer to mention the 'whose wand is the longest?' line - hat does that tell you?! :O)

Brings out the kid in me. With a whizz and a fizz and a fuss and a frazzle,
The stage is lit up with a razz-a-ma-dazzle.
There's a great ball of light like the moon in a bubble -
Figberry flies in with her friend riding double.
Well done. LOL.
