A very well-written 5-7-5 poem. It seems like a very crowded mushroom hometown for the gnomes. How do they find their specific homes?

I think they use an elf-help book.

Urban development gone wrong? My how the neighborhood has changed. I can relate. I have had the unique experience of twice seeing my community undergo dramatic changes, mostly because I have the tendency to not move very often. I have been in my current home for thirty eight years.

Hi Bill, I liked this a lot. You used a great imagery and I liked the play of words. It's amazing how much you can say in so few words. All the best. Ulla:))

Happy holidays, Bill;
-Very humorous an excellent play on words. Also a very good set up for the use of the plan words.
-Great picture to capture the relativity of the support of the poem.
-Have a good one Bill and take care.

Bill, I like the five seven five's. You started off eith something or someone small. Then you progress to growing pains, ending with a great third line. Good job!

The photo is beautiful and complements your poem very well. I enjoyed the wordplay in this well written 5-7-5. Together it made me laugh.

Hahahaha...it's true what they say then? "We can never go gnome again?"
That's so disheartening when you stop and think about it, LOL.
Great play on words in this, and the allusion to gnomes homes and the mushrooms in your accompanying picture did not go unnoticed.
Funny stuff. :)

Getting back to your old funny self I see. Good work. The picture is a perfect match for the poem. Did you write the poem and find the picture or see the picture and write the poem?

Oh, I love a good pun and this is one!
Good pairing of photo and poem to convey your message clearly.
Don't know how far you want to take this, Bill, but you could be referring to Pixie's "gnome-town."
