It's too bad that there isn't music to it. It's nice to read it, but to hear it sung with music would be grand!
I found one typo:
Trees lit up fancy neath (think it should be 'neath) stars in the sky (do your own research cause I may be wrong)
Good luck in the contest.

What an intriguing image--deep colors contrasted against black--and the suggestion of the continents with embedded images. Sets a mood for the song.
The song is ideal for the Christmas season. Simple, playful, fun. The rhyme is consistent and makes the song easy to remember.

Lovely song that I hope you are able to sell (for big bucks!) to some pop star who will make it a hit that is played world over. :-) Wonderful message, and I agree with you 100%! I see nothing to correct.

I think this is beautiful. Love the fact that it is all inclusive. I personally don't think that by saying Merry Christmas, it is a political statement, but rather for me, it is traditional. Thanks for sharing.

What a joyful song which brings us into the new year. I like the first verse, 'we all have beliefs'. Thank you for sharing this joyful song. Happy New year. NB

The poem followed strictly the rules of the contest, the message is in keeping with the holidays. I beg to disagree with your views but it doesn't mean that you are less of a writer just because we differ in our views.Celebrating Christmas should never be construed as insulting other faiths as we Christians are also not insulted when Muslims celebrate Ramadan. God bless.

Hi there,
I like the idea of this this very much although sadly I doubt the human race will ever reach this point.
History shows us that man appropriates. All the major holidays are appropriated from what has gone before it seems.
If little small countries can't manage it, what hope the wider world?
But this song is an ideal, something to aspire to and in that it presents a strong and hopeful message.
All the best

I really like this, I think it would work for sure. It has everything I am sure a musician with a good tune and guitar ability could make this work for sure. I wish I could play an instrument Thanks for sharing

"Holiday, Holiday", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. I look forward to seeing your next post.
