Hi Bill. I recognized the artwork as Renati's. She has her own style. This looks like a good entry for the contest. This is interesting. I think it would depend on the family. But parents do tend to be more conservative with their own children. Well done. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

I'm not exactly sure what you mean that family values are a conservative issue that is liberally shared. I think family values are a human issue that has eroded over the last half century. Good luck in the contest.

The political side of these words joined together to form a thought is that conservatism and liberalism are, in a season of election, thought to be mutually exclusive. Republicans are all about man/woman marriage, God, and the status quo. Liberals seem to support all unions of people, limit church doctrines which limit choice, and lean into a progressive ideology. This poem just plays on those key words.
