A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the first dance with a special one, that lasts until dawn when love is born in the hearts of two who become one and never seem to be apart.

A beautiful love story... nostalgia for that first date (maybe?) when everything was new... "whispers in darkness" is fantastic! This is great from the very beginning (the awesome description and title) until the end! Nicely presented too!

Your poem, That First Dance...Til Dawn, is just splendid. It really struck a chord with me. I think it will pretty much strike a chord with everyone over the age of 20 or so. That first date, that first meeting when you just don't want the night to end, and somehow suddenly you find that the sun is rising and the night has passed and you don't really know how it even happened. You've just been sitting around, chilling, chatting, dealing woth those longing looks and intense stares, the occasional kiss... but you HAVE to go home... you to yours, them to theirs. lol That's how it works! Ahhhhh... to be young again! Butterflies abounding!
