Sounds like you and I have shared some similar paths. On the streets at fifteen, I thought the only people who believed in the Bible were uneducated idiots. An astute observation coming from a 9th grade dropout. I mean, my dad, who I never saw more than once a year or so, preached that the only part of the Bible he believed in was the part about eat, drink, and make Mary (shame on him). Lucky for me, I never took anyone's words, making sure to learn everything for myself. Praise the Lord! Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Wow THAT'S FANTASTIC. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah I had to find God on my own. I study Christian Apologetics. Man I'm telling you, I can see already that you would like it. You're a smart person. It's basically just the study of how to defend the faith with FACTS and actual logic. Crazy facts that I had no idea were true. I recently started to make videos about certain topics. Like I started doing it last week on youtube. Very recent lol.

I usually don't try to debate any issues with nonbelievers as I remember when it only made me mad when the thumpers were trying to push their beliefs on me. But now that I've realized it's my duty and a great reward to witness to others, I try to ease in easy when questions are asked. I'm interested in your Youtube videos, so how are they listed. I need all the facts I can find, it's hard to convince people who aren't willing to believe in anything to trust in faith. LOL. Not familiar with apologetics, but no better time than now to start. :-)

Hi Gregory. For some strange reason, I was just going through my FanStory Bookcase, for a scant few minutes, and stumbled across this. It's almost two years old -- so you might be eligible for that special promotion, soon. It's not free, but I think you get an extra day, or something like that, more than the usual Treasure whatever.
You should consider publishing this as a booklet or an expanded tract. I think it's very, very good. If and when you're ready to promote it again, I'll add pumps. I can't believe it only got seven reviews, especially with all the Christian believers we have on this site -- of course, it's even more important to reach atheists, and agnostics or skeptics.
I just LOVE this honest, very detailed, intelligent and powerful testimony, backed up by historical facts. Of course, nothing can replace faith, but I remember a time in my life when I was searching, and very hungry for reasons to believe what my "intellect" said was impossible. I now know that it's not just possible, it's the truth! Jesus, Our Lord, IS the Truth! May His Name be lifted up and glorified.
"I have become all things to all men, if by all possible means, I might win some." I'm not quoting a reference here, because that might not be an exact quote, but I'm sure you know what I'm referring to.
You did such a wonderful job with this. Hallelujah!

This is one of the best stories I have ever read. Being raised very Catholic, none of this is new to me. But I never get tired of hearing the stories, or hearing peoples' opinions of the stories. I don't need to say more.

If none of these things happened, the we (Christians) are the most foolish of all, my friend Bob Cullen, fead my post, "Soul's wish" asked me what happened, I told him the presence of almighty God, surrounded me on the way home from work, God Himself. Why I don't, I stopped drinking, gambling, smoked, why? I saw the pearl of great price. Good work, blessings. Roy

I try to Pay Attention to those "coincidences". Sometimes it's God nudging us. If that makes sense. (Like The Alchemist in a way). Jesus aligns paths at just the right moments though :)

The problem arises with the heart and the ability to 'see' with a 'faithful' eye... :) :) A wonderful offering for this contest -- best of luck at the polls! ;)
