Whoo-ray! Such a beautiful photo showing the love of two best friends greeting each other after not being able to see each other for three months. Inspiring and uplifting with a positive message about being "color blind" in the true sense of the word. I am proud to see that you risked going against some people's grain by boldly putting this photo and poem up on Fan Story. I love the first line which says "when darkness surrounds us just one ray of light can illuminate a world of hearts." This is so true and profound. Thank you for sharing your light.

We do need to look at the world through the eyes of the young. They still have an unspoiled innocence that does not judge. All we need to do is stop, look and learn. The children of the world can be our inspiration. There is hope.

Yes a wonderful sentiment to experience - acceptance of who we are -children at least get to experience it in their tenderest youth - thereafter life seems to become so nuanced

I always love these types of things. They're two best friends who missed each other. One is light and the other is dark, this is how far we have come and we must keep going. A lovely expression of words!

There does seem to be a lot of darkness in the world at the moment. A simple thing such as a ray of light, can provide a lot of hope for so many people. I thought this was a well written piece and I liked the message behind it. Good luck in the contest!
