That's some deep thinking, deepwater. Looks like I finally made the connection with your name. To answer that question, why stress over it?
What contributions do we as mere mortals project for the salvation of this destiny. -- Do you intend to have a question mark here?

compelling question that asks about the purpose of repopulating a world gone mad
I like poems that provoke debate and spur people to give their own answers
are we determined to rebuild the ark - a compelling image to focus this poem of social commentary on

Hi GW,
You make excellent points. Although, I believe our ark has sunk with too much greed for power and wealth, obscuring the need for peace and posterity.
Thought provoking piece.
Cheers & Blessings

If I could take one Tow guided missile back to prehistory I would carefully blow the ark to smithereens.
The fact that the ark survived is proof of god's fallibility.

Mankind, unfortunately, is not really any "better" or "worse" whatever that means. There are simply too
many, and space and goodies will be fewer. The strong and resolute will survive. The ark builds itself. Excellent thought provoking work.
