This is a haunting tale of death at sea.
I enjoyed the vivid images you portray,
which put the reader right there with you.
I especially like the hopeful ending.
Your poem could also be seen as a metaphor
for life. Nice work.

Very poignant! Liked these lines especially: someone has caught me, carries me high warm smiling faces with glows in their eyes I have come home now, at rest in this place The Sea, and its Sailors, we sail in God's grace.
Well done!

As I read this, I immediately thought of the sixteen year old girl who was trying to sail around the world when she hit stormy seas and lost her mast. Well done!

one can see clearly the storm and then being at peace in the end. I think of many difficulties in life that are similar to a storm at sea. You have a steady beat here and
good descriptive words.

A very gripping and tension filled sea storm story
here. Starkly vivid descriptions enhance the suspense
and danger; the fierce fight to stay aflooat, near
surrender, and a llth hour rescue.
Fantastic presentation, thanks for sharing.

You are such a wonderful poet. You spin and weave your words as though they are gold. Your poem reminds me of the 16 year old girl who was ailing around the world by herself. I wonder if she felt fear.
