I found this a little to hard for me to comprehend its full meaning, but that is me, I cannot penalize you because of that. I presume the last two lines sum up the words of the poem? Living life to its fullest and to have lived it in a manner you so pleased....

I'm not sure I totally understood it. Was it suspose to rhyme or was it not supose to rhyme? Is it about living your life in the style you wish?

and alcohol, at least in my humble opinion,
is because they are not comfortablde with
themselves. A life well-lived is certainly

Deepwater, you have composed a deep poem. i too look down at the farthest side of my life, the differeence being that I have a sense of having accomplished nothing at all. perhaps in the next life, if there is one, something good will come.

I liked the way you wrote the last line.
We want to live our life the way we want as per our choice, but we have to follow certain norms imposed by the society, family and other extraneous units.
If we succeed to live our life the way we want, it sure is a great achievement.
