Very deep, very profound... I think most of us never get to know ourselves. I liked this, I thought it was written very well. The flow was good also. It's thought provoking... Well done!

This is a great poem which tell us the secret of wisdom.
How to reach to the end of the road in peace. It's very well written and flows easy!
Congratulations!

You appear to have your values in the right direction. The freedoms you seek are more valuable than gold, perhaps more costly, too. great poem.

As Yoda would've said, "Truth you have found." My favorite line was: Seeking intimate wealth in the company of friends. Profound wisdom. Good job

Being true to ourselves is the only thing that will matter when we look back at our life and look forward to our future. Life is hard, but it is nice to follow our dreams and not live for others.

Wow, this is so true - you must find out what you believe to be true, to truly be happy in, and with yourself.
I love your 'simple but effective writing style'.
Flow is good and message is excellent and well portrayed. Overall, very well written :)

When one has taken the time to perspect on life gone by truthfully, then peace can surely follow.
The lessons learned are truly the gem, no matter the wrongs or mistakes everyone has done. Great poem to make people ponder. Love, JEan

I like the structure of this poem and the theme of a quest.
'And to be able to say, I am my best friend" is my favorite
line. Gives the reader much to think about.

I like the rhythm and the flow in the poem, in everybody's quest we can learn from this truth, it's more important to live a life of our choice as you say it. Walden and Zaratustra have spoken about their quest, but somehow it seems a little bit loney on the path, just a tought.

A nice poem, beautifully structured and presented.
More than just Frank Sinatra can say, "I did it my way". The sad thing is that so many people blame others on how life treats them. In the end, we do all live a life of our own choice. Do we make the right choices? Can we live with them once made?
