This is very good. To his the moral of the he story, carefully? It was a good read with a surprise ending. Good form. I wish you the best this season. Christmas is a special time of the year. Your poem expresses that well.

Thank you!

nicely done captures the true meaning of Christmas without being too sentimental or religious hard to do but you pulled it off like the ending The warmest delight that a grandpapa might savor
Is gathering all around and reading without a quaver
the story about the birth of our Savior.
Dedicating another Christmas for the best gift that could be
teaching our children His gift is better than any under the tree!

This is an excellent poem for the Christmas Contest. Your faith comes shining through you words. I could visualize your grandchildren as they learn the reason for the season.

Thank you for this poem, which balances the traditions and happiness that children experience during this season, with a focus on the true meaning of Christmas, the most important part, often overlooked. Best wishes for the contest.

Thank you, keeping the real reason for the season alive in our clan.

You captured the magic of Christmas through the eyes of a child at the same time teaching them about the real meaning of Christmas.
They will carry these memories to their own children

I like the way you think about Christmas. A well written and well told poem. I like how you structured this poem. Excellent work! No grammatical errors. Good luck in the contest!

'Christmas Morn', is an exceptionally well-written, and spiritually-uplifting piece. Penned with craft and skill. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me, this is six, but sadly I'm never given enough of them. Good luck with the contest!

Dear Author, You did an excellent job of making everything in this writing prompt rhyme to a T. I am very glad that you got in the message about what Christmas IS, and the gift that is more precious than anything under the tree.

This poem adequately describes what Christmas is all about. I especially liked the lines, "But the best to be seen were those eye popping stares as each of the grandchildren came down the stairs." This poem is truly delightful. The last two lines say it all.

Christmas Morn
Great entry for the Christmas writing prompt contest. It's only two weeks until Xmas. It's fun to watch my children and grandchildren open presents but the real meaning of xmas is Jesus Christ birth and love for all.

Gypsy, it is almost surreal that Christmas is only couple of weeks ahead, this season we really need to reflect on the Reason for the Season with so very many people whose lives have been broken by all the damage done by Covid.
