Hi! I loved your story. The phonics and phonemes felt natural and fun. I liked how Sissy wanted a hat to look prettier, and I liked the ending. It made me laugh. Great job on the story. Have a blessed and Merry Christmas!

What a hoot! A great contest entry, good luck. I got a little dizzy reading it myself. I am not sure imagery is the right word, but I did love the thought of seeing these two cats having that dialogue. Very well done!

You made this crazy old cat lady happy with this short story. It is so cute and I love it. The words do make the reader a bit dizzy at times, but I guess that is the point of the contest. I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

I think if I'm any judge of the contest requirements, without actually reading the other entries, I would have to say this was the winner, but I haven't, but this is certainly an incredibly good one, and must fare well. Beautifully written, good Luck, blessings Roy

I think you met the challenge well, with lots of rhymes and repetition which make it fun for children to read a story. The city name of McVitty may be the hardest for a child to read. Best wishes in the contest!
