This is another great chapter. You have surprised me with the plot twist. It looks like Ali is going to be a champion for women. Yeah! The picture matches the story. I don't think I mentioned how I appreciate the large font.

Alexandra the superhero strikes out in defense of the underdogs. She is really impressive in this chapter. I thought Cord lived at his parent's house, but you mention "his place" in this section. He goes home at night? Really enjoyed this chapter and learning just what a dirty dog Pat is.

Pat Rogers is a real jerk. He's certainly been using his position to prey on women. Alexandria is on to him. It shows a lot of nerve on her part that she confronts him. Just a thought--Alexandria has been practicing law in New York and is licensed to practice there. I don't know what the procedure is like in Texas, but she would have to get a license there to practice if she wants to sue Pat. I don't know how long it would take to get that license, but I believe the have to pass the bar in that state. If she gets her Texas license, she may have herself an entirely different type of practice. It should be more rewarding to help these women than to work for that large corporation. judi

I'm very familiar with small-town living and we do share many facts about our personal lives. lol I've lived in cities where I never ever saw my neighbours.

I love it when 'wise guys' are taught the lesson that their ignorant actions are the results of being or at least acting like idiots. Men who take advantage of women are among the most ignorant. They obviously have not yet learned that when a woman has had enough and decides to fight back, your battle is against someone so powerful that you will not only lose, you will be heavily damaged in the process.
