Thank you for sharing this post. It's a great awareness post. I don't understand why someone would eat those types of food. Or why kill those animals. Pets.

Thanks for reviewing. Some people wonder why westerners eat pigs. South Americans eat guinea pigs. People have different pets in different countries. Hunger will make people eat anything.

You are welcome.

Hmm, interesting way to set up the cat thing, and then twist with a squid dinner. I get it. Not sure about he ending though, as some would question, still eating at such a place and dish, touched by a stray.
But, it's 100 words, and why think too deeply about it.
Good work and good luck.

Some people are overly fussy (probably sensibly) and some cat lovers forgive anything - fleas, runny eyes - and would just see a skinny hungry kitty needing some food.

This one-hundred-word story, An Unexpected Dining Experience, has the proper word count and surprise us with this cheery conclusion with a live cat and some purloined squid. Funny.

One of my family ate guinea-pig in Peru ... I don't think I'd want to do that! This story was very clever because when you first read about the cat on the dinner plate, you think he's on the menu ...
