Well done my friend. I used that 'love is patient etc. when I took the lecturn at my father's funeral. If we can but reach one person for the Lord, we are blessed. I liked your selfless request of god and like me, you asked for others. Good luck in the contest my NSW buddy. Love, Kay xx Sunni xx.

Thanks so much Kay. Praying for others and children will be in His will, I am sure. And your prayer will be answered, offering yourself to serve in ways that will be a blessing to others.
I appreciate your review, and send hugs to both you and Benny (how dos he look after his grooming?)

You certainty know how to pray, for the children now and years to come.
Why don't we all pray for God's children.

Thank you dear Gert. I would not like to be young today. The world must be very confusing and daunting.

Wendy,
I'm so glad that I'm old and don't have to worry about my elderly children.

What a beautiful prayer, Wendy! And I prayed with your for this next generation as they are plagued with more problems than we ever imagined when we were growing up. Thank you for your heart that loves children and I know you prayed according to His will because He loves these children more than we are able. Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you Helen. The world today must be confusing and daunting for children. Praying He will bring many to Himself and will help them to stand firm and strong in Him.

I like how you are discussing children with God, so important in our world of violence. Your words have meaning and give the reader much to think about. Children are so important as your letter emphasizes. Excellent letter to God.

What a lovely post Wendy, this is truly beautiful, we need to pray for the children of the world. Our church does a great job with the children, allowing them to have a big chunk of the service from time to time, allowing them to pray for the adults, my granddaughter was reportedly weeping as she was praying, I know she wept at her baptism, after asking me to allow her to be so, I jumped joyfully at that, dear, sweet children of the world, I add my support to Wendy's prayer
Father. Well done, Blessings Roy

This is a fine letter to God. You request a lot, but then God is a generous god, and when it is deserving he will grant a lot. I am certain he will read your letter attentively and answer it favourably. Kate xx

You cover many good points about how children are so often lacking in knowledge of Our Father, due to their contemporary lifestyle: lacking love, inability to discern truth, living in fear, exposed to loss...
Paul's words in a letter to the Corinthians are so beautiful and encompassing - definitely worth committing to memory (and practice). If only it came naturally to us all to connect with God's super-natural love.

Thanks very much for reviewing. Yes, I would not like to be young today. The world must seem very confusing and daunting, and directionless.
