Ali had some men very angry with her for not allowing them to get away with what they do without having to answer for it. These men are ruthless and Ali fees she has put everyone in danger. I'm enjoying your story.

So Ali has attracted some pretty hard repercussions with her attempt to make Rogers pay for his rather sleezy methods with dealing with women looking for loans they needed badly, but it seems there are some highly moral men here to assist. Well done, blessings Roy

Another great chapter Barbara! Suspenseful and scary now for Cordero and Ali and possibly the entire family. I hope Cordero doesn't do anything foolish to protect Ali, but I wouldn't blame him. Best, JohnC

Another excellent chapter :-). It's sad to think there are still people in the world who'll get violent just because they can't have everything they want, but I've no doubt it's true!

I hope Steven is continuing to do well. I suspected Pat was behind Luke kidnaping Ali. There's also a witness to their plotting, so that's good. Hopefully, Sam will be able to nail them. Pat seems to have a way of weaseling out of any difficulty that arises. He definitely needs to be prosecuted. Those security cameras sound like a great idea. It's ironic that Ali is having so much trouble in what should be a peaceful town whereas the only problem she had in NY was her no=good fiance. Great explanation for the attack on Ali. Have a happy Fourth. judi

It seems that things are really heating up with this guy Pat getting dangerously risky. Something tells me that he may be biting off more than he can handle going up against Cord and the law. I will be very happy when he is brought to justice and has to pay for his misdeeds.
