-Good artwork, presentation, and poem, Steve.
-You also tell a good story about the Gobbledegook people.
-Celebration is in the air and the nation is joyful with the birth of twins to the King and Queen.
-It has been a glorious day for all, and visions of "festivities, folly and fun,"
along with happiness will be with them as the sleep and probably for a while to come.
-A good entry; good luck in the contest.

I'm loving the matching rhymes in this epic story of mythical creatures enjoying festivities. Well chosen words in this poem packed with pearls, diamonds and tongue twisting lines. This is a magical poem and deserves six stars, love Dolly x

Many thanks, Dolly. Glad you enjoyed. If you think this is tongue-twisting, you should try some of the earlier poems in this series like 'Where's Rupert?'

Hello Steve,
You had me at the name Gobbledegook and the sphinx was a nice pet addition.
A wonderful addition to the Gobblede-Nation, as well as the twins.
I like to meet those Bally-Balooshkins too.
Well done with fun, rhyme and meter.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes.
Robert

Many thanks, Robert. I see this is the eighth one of these I have written. I also see that I called it quits after Chapter 7 in which I finally got Rupert and Hilda to tie the knot! Guess I missed the Gobbledegooks too much - they are always lots of fun!

Well this is fun! I loved the lightheartedness of your poem. It's creative. The rhyme scheme and the flow of your poem worked so well in adding to the visuals that you share here. This is terrific and just so enjoyable.

Michael, thanks so much for the kind words in your review. I have a whole series of Gobbledegook stories and they are always lots of fun to write or to read. If I could find the right genius illustrator I reckon I could do well by publishing some of them!

Makes me wish to convert to Gobbledegookism. A fine place with fine traditions--and a truly astounding array of species.
I particularly like hearing that the twins arrived 'by royal decree.' A neat trick, even if it sounds like less fun than the normal means of conception.
Really good stuff, Steve.
Best of luck. Peace, Lee

Thanks, Lee. Always good to get a Sixer on the first review!
Yeah, it sounds like a pretty cool place to live. Quite apart from the snazzy parties they are all invariably nice to each other - even the witches and zombies!
