Great point that sometimes it's the body language more than the spoken language that communicates. Harmless words will be followed-up with something not so pleasant.

I think it is awesome that someone can write a complete story in 50 words. Congrats on your accomplishment, it's not as easy as it sounds and I admire the effort. I like the way you used "child doctor," to convey the doctor's youth; that was clever. Also, the way you framed the "little chat," as bad news. Realistic, every reader knows a doctor hardly ever has a "little chat," with a patient. If he sits you down for a talk, it's almost always bad news, otherwise they just tell you to put on your clothes and be sure to make your next appointment on your way out.
