"Faith Chapter 2" begins an interesting story. I think some scenes could be a tiny bit more described. One suggestion is in this line: "Emma changed clothes and then searched for Seth..." left me wondering what clothes? Could perhaps be --Emma pulled off her dress and slipped into jeans. Then looked out the window for Seth. ---. Well, something like that. I'll watch for the next chapter.

I rechecked that area and made the change. Thank you for the kind review.

You've got the romance slowly brewing, Barbara. This is a charming read so far.
Both your main characters seem a little too perfect at the moment. I'm hoping there will be something that one or both will have to work through as the story progresses.

This book is starting out very interesting. Great character descriptions and the dialogue and inner-thoughts are quit believable.
I am looking forward to reading more, my friend.
I can see some interesting angles developing.

This is a fun story so far. Emma and Seth seem like they will be a good match for each other. It's still early and they are just getting to know each other. Seth is protective. Both of them are talented in different ways and both like small town life.

Thank you for the encouragement. I can see Seth and Emma together, but it'll take work.

The dialogue carries the day in this chapter. we see Seth and Emma dancing around each other here, the attraction is subtle but its there, and they seem to be at once holding each other at bay and trying to pry details about each other out into the open. Little by little they are getting to know each other. estory

Your story is coming along well. I love the song that Emma sang, "Victory in Jesus." and I really like how you ended this chapter, by suggesting a bit of mystery: "Seth opened the door and saw headlights at the top of the lane. Wonder who that is and what they're doing."

It's fun and refreshing to read feel good stories that skip over or leave out the undesirable parts, the way older movies used to be. Before they started emphasizing the naughty and turning them to nasty. I haven't heard that old song since I was young, but now the words keep ringing over and over through my brain, "How He gave His life on Calvary, too save a wretch like me. Thanks for sharing.

Since, I wrote this months ago, I have been singing that song, not only in my head. It was a good one. Thank you for the kind review.

I'm glad to know it hasn't just affected me that way. :-)

This is going to be an interesting story, Barb. You have ended this chapter very nicely with the car headlights. Thanks for including Carrie Underwood's song.

Seth is another of your infinitely patient love interest, once his hard shell of no-nonsense is cracked through. We, the readers, can count on his being gentle, kind, and morally correct and yet be tested at various junctures. I like Seth. Who wouldn't? He wants to protect Emma ... and already, we can feel him slipping into a relationship with her.
Good job, Barbara.

Seth is very worried about the age difference. To him she's a 'young'n'. Thank you for the kind review.

This sounds like a promising relationship beginning, although we know little about Sath. Why does Molly keep running off ? Something weird that she senses - and also the car hanging around. A degree of tension which will doubtless build up into high drama and intrigue. Best wishes with this new story. I am enjoying it.
