I really enjoyed reading this chapter, even though I haven't yet read the previous ones, I felt I had a good understanding of what was going on and who the characters are. It is clear to see the love that's there between Seth and Emma, and I liked the humour too, when Emma suggests to Seth that she should paint poka-dots on the cement blocks. This, I thought helped bring their personalities to life well, and it's clear to see that they're comfortable in each others company and get on well. I could feel the concern there was also about Emma's stalker and Seth's desire to protect her, so I'm really intrigued to know what is going to happen here and I want to find out who Emma's stalker is and what their motive is. I'm definitely looking forward to see where you take these characters next. I really enjoyed it.

The sleeping bag encounter is very romantic. The case is also moving forward.
Couple of very minor things:
Emma hurried to him. "Daddy, you didn't need to." When she opened the sack, she said, "It's the marinated salmon for today's special."
(Should 'for' be 'from' ?)
also:
"Should we grill or bake it," interrupted Seth."
(Lose the " after Seth)

He was awake when she woke up and said, "Seth?" How romantic:-)
This chapter seemed to be all about moving closer to each other physically and emotionally and Emma learning to trust and rely on Seth even more.

I love dogs too. Probably why there a dog in all my romances novels, except my first. I have actually considered rewriting it and adding one. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

Emma is very fortunate to have found such a compassionate friend, potential lover, and life partner. It is very clear that Seth is all in when it comes to Emma. He would probably face any one foolish enough to dare threaten Emma's well being. I love their increasing closeness.
