His return is imminent, but that has been said for two thousand milleniums. Do you think people have tired of prophecies unfulfilled not realizing his sphere of time is quite different than mortals.
Keep the faith. I have your back.

Possibly. And yet, looking around, we see everything being fulfilled as never before. Yes, His timeline is different - when we see the signs we know His return is imminent. Thanks so much for reviewing. Always appreciated.

This is a beautifully written prayer to God, admitting the many ways we have sinned against Him, acknowledging our keeping Him absent from our lives and accepting His power to change us with His grace and mercy, thanking Him we can talk to Him at any time about everything. I add amen.

Thank you Verna. I am so pleased to see your supportive and very kind review. Yes, He listens, cares and loves, and He acts. Many thanks for the six beautiful stars as well. I appreciate the honour of this meaningful gift.

Beautiful letter. It was so powerful in its tone. Everything you stated is true. We do not want Him to be above our needs or wants. I had a niece who once told me that I should do something useful instead of just praying. I wasn't sure how to respond. I told her that for me to pray , in my humble opinion, was something I believed in. It is the most powerful thing to do. Especially praying for others. She still didn't get it. I really felt this. Some people just don't get it. I hope that she herself was "doing something useful"? Putting our cares into the hands of a powerful God and asking for His help and guidance - that to me is a very useful and powerful, and productive step to take! Thanks so much for your thoughtful review. I always appreciate your thoughts.

Hello Wendy,
thank you for sharing this heartfelt prayer. I hope that those who read it will take a minute to reflect on their relationship with God. Of course He doesn't force us to accept Him or love Him. He doesn't want robots. I think in part that what the world is going through right now helps to show the distinction between what is good and what is evil. The darker the times, the more the light shines. I fear the time has come when we must make a decision. There is no more room for grey areas in our lives. We must choose to follow the Lord, or accept the consequences of our choices if we don't. The world is spinning out of control, and it would be a fool who would deny it. Thanks for sharing this Wendy. Good luck in the contest.
Have a blessed day.

I agree. There will be no room at all for grey very soon. We'll need to be ready to stand up and be counted, regardless of the consequences. Thank you very much for your positive review. I value your thoughts.

This is an excellent communication, the free natural way we should speak to our Father. He is so patient to put up with us. Thank you for writing on behalf of us all. I couldn't say it better.

This prayer was very heartfelt and warm. It had a lot of 'why' which I am sure we all have for God.
And then this nugget of truth that has plagued Nanking since the days of Cain and Abel :
Why is it so hard for us to show love, kindness, compassion, and patience towards one another?
Good stuff!

We've rejected "Love God, and love your neighbour as yourself". Thanks so much, Doug, for your positive and supportive review. I value your thoughts.

Thank you.
I wrote a prayer for the contest. It might have won, who knows with judges. But my reluctance to write it in the first place prevailed. I'll not post it. My motive was not to pray, but to enter a contest. That was wrong, and is still wrong. Yours, on the other hand, is a message to the saved and the semi-saved, those who are as lukewarm water.
And it is a heartfelt prayer. I know God heard you. I hope people do as well.

Thank you Wayne, and I understand perfectly. I chose to enter at the last minute because I felt that some things needed to be said, and attitudes challenged. I very much doubt it will place, but I do sometimes feel challenged to stand up for my Lord. I tire of people asking why God doesn't do something, blaming Him, or saying how bad the world has become, but still refusing to recognise national, community, and personal sin - or to be willing to make a difference on an individual basis. Many thanks for the six stars - greatly appreciated and valued.

This is a powerfully expressed message of deep concern about the current state of the world and the way in which, it seems, people are turning away from God and, in the process, forsaking His love. The problem with that is, be it vanity and narcissism or something much greater such as hatred and war, the whole order of things is being reversed and the world, as we've known it, jeopardised. I sincerely hope your prayers are answered, Wendy! We're living in dangerous times. Take care Debbie

Thank you very much Debbie, for your insightful and supportive review. Yes, the world is heading for disaster, largely because we have rejected "Love God, and love your neighbour as yourself". I appreciate your review a lot.

This is beautifully written, Wendy. I understand your despair when watching the nightly news or looking around us and seeing the evidence that people continue to go their own way rather than acknowledging and accepting God's love. Post-covid, I find it beneficial to focus mindfully on the positive wherever I find it. That, and prayer, helps me.

Yes, you are right, and that's what I do. I don't watch news with graphic scenes any more, I just read the newspapers in order to know what's going on. But yes, one must focus on the positive things, and be willing to stand up and make a difference in whatever small ways one can, and commit it all to Him. He knows and is in control. Thank you for a fine review.
