Where ever we go in life, we have to avoid trouble and it is a matter of learning the basic rules and having an instinct to run when we need to. It sounds like you are starting to make friends with some decent people Lea and you have found yourself a job. Your accommodation does not sound very safe and your last line is worrying.
This is a great line:
Perhaps malevolence is its placenta.

Why did you put these chapter together as a book? But these chapter are considered as book chapters. You will have to create a book and add these to it.
I enjoy reading your prose and poems. The last these paragraphs were so emotional. I also had a very messy and difficult childhood. Hugs. We both survived it.

Why did you put these chapter together as a book? But these chapter are considered as book chapters. You will have to create a book and add these to it.
