You arevalways poetess of grace and faith and each line is a song of praise!
I wish I had sixes remaining...
It's been a dark week for many personal reasons.
Thank you for sharing the dawn!

Life throws curves sometimes...
It'll pass.
Your poem was just what I needed!

I really enjoyed the beautiful imagery you've employed here and especially the references to the palette of colours we can experience in the morning sky. You're right - taking a moment to admire nature can take us out of ourselves and our own situations. :)

Love your beautiful poem of praise - so very lyrical in terms of imagery, and fine rhyme and metre too. Stunning image. I also appreciated the alliteration throughout the poem. Your notes and choice of verses were an added bonus.

Thank you Wendy for this thoughtful and encouraging review. I am so pleased that you enjoyed it. I should have mentioned the source of the artwork as Jessica McChesney. She does do beautiful work.

Wow! What a beautiful praise psalm! I think you must be a poet of the dawn as you always describe the mornings so beautifully. I love how you end it with a peaceful acceptance of the unknown, that is "familiar yet mysterious." Virtual six!
Then miles of pink and blue immerge. (wondered if you meant "emerge"?)
stars fade (the final -s was in not bolded)

How are you doing, Janet? How is your husband? 💖🙏

Thank you for checking on us. My husband is still in cardiac rehab but getting stronger every day. Praise God. He still has other issues to deal with but we just take one day at a time.
A grandson however had a stroke at 23 while traveling in the Far East and had to have surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. He is back home now and just had another surgery to mend the hole in his heart that caused the blot clot.
Knowing they are both on the mend is helping me feel better.
I really appreciate your message this morning. I say my prayers, I do have faith and trust in God but some days, I can?t seem to get out of my own way. I didn?t sleep well from all my concerns and then I read your message. Thank you again.

HI Janet,
This is a wonderful poem that uses color to enhance the emotion of the sunrise. A sunrise is such a work of art and it does bring hope and mystery to the coming day.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a great week.

You are a gifted child of God and in turn a gift from God to raise burdened hearts to praise His glorious Word and name.
God bless you, sweet sister in the Lord!

This was a beautiful and descriptive poem about the natural beauty of the morning sky. I live on the coast and we have orange sunsets. They are gorgeous. God is always painting the sky and has yet to repeat one. This was beautifully written. Gretchen

You are so right. We do need to step back now and then to take a good look at the beauty around us - at sunrise, sunset, at midnight. Use our God-given senses to see, hear, smell, taste and touch all that is good. Then we can appreciate the happy times and endure the sad times - knowing that He cares.
