I really enjoyed reading this, it demands re-reading. Not quite a riddle but one that requires some reflection. I am guessing you are talking about an ego or a conscience or perhaps both. I think it might be something that requires more than just one coffee to fully understand.

great imagistic word choices
smooth rhyme and flow
like the font style used - wistful and dreamy
maybe try the black background and a light yellowish font? just a thought ;)
