Ah the silence of the night and the time of the subconscious activity have contributed to your creative process in writing poetry. Thanks for sharing! I keep something I can write on nearby. Used to be paper and pen but now it's just my phone.

Yes, me too. I often dream things and would wake and write them down. My wife has gotten use to me by now. At times, I even gave to put it down, I mean my writing, to get at other things. It can consume me, and I have to stay discipline Nice one.

I like how you repeated "silence" and "night" through the poem. It gave a nice flow to the poem that I really enjoyed.
I like how you captured the thoughts flowing through the head when you've gone to bed. I find my brain tends to work in the same way.
