Gypsy, I love the photo, and the words are beautiful.
I often find myself musing about morphine to a French cafe, or a sunny tropical land, so your poem speaks to me.
I now live is a kind of depressing place, but as long as I have my imagination, like that of the one in your poem, I'm ok.

Ain't that a kick. The roles are reversed. The abused muse screams for help. Can the writer ever be the abused one? Can a muse abuse a writer?
If you think those times that the muse went fishing, went on a cross-country trip or just wasn't around for whatever reason. During those times the muse is abusing the writer. So I guess fair is fair
I really liked how you approached this and I enjoyed reading your poem. Very humorous
