Congratulations barbara i'm very excited for you I know how wonderful it feels when we have a book on Amazon. Do you have people that are marketing for you or are you just enjoying your book My marketing might be onFacebook I tell about my book on Facebook but I am not spending any money like I did with I universe Oh my gosh all kinds of money spent to get marketing done which really amounted to nothing.
I'm glad you found a reliable, honest publisher. That makes all the difference in the world. No scamming going on here.

Thank you for the well wishes. I appreciate the support. Yes, I do share it on Facebook, but usually only get a couple of sells that way. My publisher started a FaceBook author's page for me, but I haven't really noticed any difference, except the great photos they post of the book then I share them on my personal page, and get a sell. My publisher does the marketing. Actually, after I discovered, by accident, that I can contact libraries and asked to do a book signing, that works. The last one I did, I sold 17 books. I am wondering if I can't call up bookstores and do the same. The libraries cost nothing. The first two I did, I was contacted, then I realized i could contact others.

Coincidence? I was just working on aq fifth chapter to the slowest-running novel ever in which character "Cowboy" Oliver Wendigo falls in love. Yours, I believe, is much better written. I will look forward to it.

"Texas Enticement" But I'm not in that lone-star, everything-big state to seduce you--yet.
"Will Cordero give his heart to Alexandra?" Can he live out his life first then give it as an organ donor? Or is Alex in bad need of a transplant now?
"Quiet Lawyer" Hmm, why do I sense a paradoxical oxymoron in there somewhere? Can a rock band be soft-toned?
"This is my seventh novel published." Why, you prolific she-Shakespeare you! Do leave some ink leftovers for the rest of us doodlers.
"I would not have been able to get it published without your help." Well then, that being the case, I demand a 10% cut.

While I have loved all the stories written by you and posted here of FanStory. This was one of my particular favorites for many reasons. I truly became very much involved in this story and the subsidiary events that were not a part of the main story but were related to the main characters. It had levels of complexity that required your talents as a storyteller to be always on point. You handled it with skill and aplomb. Congratulations.

Congratulations! It's always a big moment to get something into print, and I wish you lots of luck with it. I am in the midst of my own editing job now, for Westbow Press, but it looks like the project should be done sometime in the fall. I'll have to look for your book online. Make sure you let us know when it becomes available. estory

I am so far behind in my replies that I have yet to mention how much I appreciate your encouragement for my own publications, but I do, Barbara -- very much!

I like the new title and the artwork. Congratulations on the publication of this latest. You've really been prolific, and I know some of this writing was done while you were still teaching. All the best to you. As I'm looking at your comments here, I'm remembering more and more about the novel. Best of luck to you. Thanks for keeping us up to date. judi
