I can sum up the current situation with the Marxist duo running for office...dumpster fire for America. I agree with most of what you said.
America is in decline, and I don't see an end to it. With the dems, we'll be in free fall, and with Trump, we'll just be back to our slippery slope. Though I definitely preferred Trumps policies over the dems, he was still a big spender and still increased the size of the federal govt. I did notice he's now suggesting removing some parts (like dept of Education) which is moving in the right direction. But he will need the support of fellow republicans to do that and some of them are as bad as the dems.
I really fear for America as I knew it growing up. And I'm sad for what my children and their children will have to face. Many of the bad policies began years or decades ago, it's just a matter of how fast we get destroyed.
But regardless, God is in control and that is where I place my hope!

Julie, everything Trump promised he would do for America, he did. Our economy was good, he was trying to keep the flood of illegals out when covid hit. I am too tired tonight to go into all the good things he did for this country, but Biden has all but ruined us, and he did it on purpose because he is "run" by Obama. I heard Obama on TV tonight and almost got sick! Yes, Trump's talking about removing some parts of the Dept of Education. They are and have been teaching their WOKE propaganda, indoctrinating our kids, and I know this for a fact because it happened to my granddaughter.
Anyway I can't stay awake any longer. night.

Yep, I agree with all that. I think socially/culturally he is much better. I also like that other National leaders either respected him, or feared him, in a way that kept America strong. My issue is that fiscally he didn't change anything...money printing, debt increasing, government overspending, no balanced budget. This too can collapse a nation. But this has been a problem since Nixon pulled us off the gold standard. Our money didn't devalue at all for the first 100 years. It has now devalued by 99%. We need an actual constitutionalist as leader. But regardless, Trump is a billion times better than Obama/Biden/Kamala/Walz.

I think Trump is a Constitutionalist. I think he knows what's at stake and will do his best to get us back, fiscally, as best he can. God knows, the Harris/Walz team wouldn't.

And of course, the only reason to allow illegals in our country is for votes! No other logical reason. Americans die from fentanyl. Pam, the champion liars of all time are the people in this administration and the quote, unquote journalists also on ABC, CBS.
plus Hillary, Obama, etc.
People who hate Trump say he lies, but he doesn't. He tells the painful truth which Libs can't stand to hear. He did great things for this Country and Biden and Kamalahaha have done their best to ruin it. And Biden and fam are not only liars but have been raking in the money from deals with China for years.
The Libs favorite thing to do is blame Trump for their own failures.
I can't post the speech. Kamala made it on TV tonight, I don't know where she was, but it was on Fox. Maybe you can go back on Sunday night Fox channel and find it.
I don't think Libs are going to change their indoctrinated minds, either, but I was hoping some would see the danger coming if Harris and Walz should win the election. Of course, if they do, I think you will see an uprising like this country has never seen!

I think they are, too, Lancellot, and I know Communism isn't new, but I think it IS growing here and it scares me to death. If you had heard Kamala tonight on TV saying what she was going to, I think it would've scared you, too. All of a sudden she is on a tear!
I was hoping the thought of losing one's freedoms with Communism would touch somebody and make them think of the consequences.

It's the way they've been taught. Paying for education and health care for people aren't citizens is the decent, democratic thing to do. Judi, Thank you! If just one Dem would mull it over and see the danger if the Libs wins, I would be happy, but you're probably right. However, I don't think a lot of Americans would stand for it. I think there'd be an uprising.

It's what the universities are teaching now, and their students are accepting it and passing it along, even to the high school kids. It's a shame, but I don't know what can be done. A lot of people don't care about high prices because they're on the SNAP program, get subsidized housing, etc. How quickly they forgave Bill Clinton for his sexual improprieties! And what about that White Dudes for Kamala and White Women for Kamala? It is so frustrating. judi
