As autumn arrives, I know winter is just around the bend. The thought of April and the gentle spring rain reviving our gardens makes me smile. And our cats do love sitting by the window watching raindrops hit the glass... great entry for the contest.

I really like this poem. The picture is perfect for the poem. The cat in the picture looks like Blaze, the cat I just Rescued. I like the words: as a light rain serenade. Well written.

This poem and the artwork match well. The font color matches the cat and the black background is the night. But I also thought it looked like Halloween of Autumn colors and not a Spring night.

Yes, that is the perfect greeting card for April. A purring kitten and rain hit the window pane in simultaneous autumn rainfall. I notice you use the phrase as as twice but it doesn't matter to me. Although you are holed up in a nursing home you still write meaningful poetry.
