I have known a few Janes in my time, those who think they are better than others because they have money. I think we can all get the measure of someone very quickly with how they present themselves. I have thoroughly enjoyed accompanying you and Rachelle on this hilarious journey - but it has its insights about human nature, and relationships which make it especially meaningful.

Hmmmm. The members are going to be so disappointed! They all thought Jane was a goner on this trip! Naively, so did I! Who would have thought Jane would be saved by her nemesis, the low-class Dixie chick, who takes pity on a limo driver! But gawd knows she's not plugged in enough to ever be beholden to anyone for gifts they have bestowed!
Fun chapter, to be sure - especially learning about Jane's heritage. (At least it explains her dirty poetry!!)
I loved the comment about High School Musical!! (And - thanks SO much, Gretchen, because now I'm going to have that stupid song stuck in my head for the remainder of the evening.) It's a good thing I like you so much!!
I also love the Enhanced Southern Belle you become, solely and exclusively for the hilarity of it all at Jane's (again, oblivious) expense as she blathers on, continuing to spout off her "pedigree" from the back seat. That was a GREAT touch!!
