I'm out of 6es, Miss Debi, but that was a mighty fine poem. (I'm soundin' like Gordon Lightfoot, dontcha know :)
No, really, that was a neat poem. So I guess we don't know how old he really is? smart man. He's been reading my stuff lately and has been mighty nice. I know he appreciates your really super poem.

As someone who acknowledges birthdays but does not celebrate them, I am with you brother. While I am thankful for each day that I draw breath, I am sobered by the thought that each day is a gift, but none is greater or less than any other day.
Cheer up Baby Sis. You are still among the greats when it comes to tributes. I love and appreciate you very much.

Aww this is lovely, Debi! You've really conveyed a heart-warming tone here with Father Flaps who sounds an absolute delight. I was firstly going to say that I'm jealous of his youth but I see that he's been a little creative with the accounts. The videos are beautiful too. Happy Birthday to dear Kimbob! And thank you for sharing your excellent tribute, Debi! Love Debbie

Your birthday tribute tells us a lot about Kimbob, revealing information about his life, his interests, and his personality. Happy Birthday! He also is a fair, encouraging reviewer as Father Flaps.

Hi Debi,
I think a lot of people agree with Kimbob about not celebrating their birthday. Some stay at 29 instead of 39. I do wish him a Happy 39th (again) Birthday.
I don't mind celebrating mine. I just say I'll start worrying about not celebrating once people start saying I look my age or older.

Nicely done. This is your niche. Your first best thing. You write other stuff well too. But this is where you shine the most. Some folks wait all year for a poem form you. And, lets not forget the prayers and blessings you write. Good work. Karen

Hey Debi! Long time no see!
I don't think I know our No-Birthday Birthday boy ... well, I didn't until I read your poem! So, not only do you write birthday poems, you write birthday poems for people who insist they don't want birthday poems. That's not only generous ... it shows your dilligence and persistence! *laughs*
---"He says that 36 times now he has been 39/Jack Benny never got as many years from that old line." --This is a very clever line! I'm assuming that this is like when my ex-wife refused to turn 30 for six years and just lived in a perpetual state of 29ish.
---"I'm proud to say this man is loved by everyone he knows/And with his lovely wife, Judy, they'll snuggle when it snows" --Awwww, this is so sweet! And this couplet also has a very pleasant and bouncy iambic rhythm!
Birthdays here, No-Birthdays there. How do you keep up? Do you ever stop and take a deep breath when there aren't any birthdays to set to poem? Well, rest up. It's just a couple days over 5 months until March 17th! *big grin*

LOL, No, Patrick, this was all meant to be funny. He jokingly said maybe a verse, but I know him so well that he just meant this to be funny.
I never, ever do a poem for anyone unless they want it. And usually I let those who had one already come to me, but Kimbob is so darn much fun to write for that you will love his writing too. He is very good around Halloween.
So as much as I will only write for those who want it, I still like to joke around and make myself look a little guilty. After all, you can't blame a girl for trying.
Now not many know this and last year it got out of hand. But on Saturday it is my 70th birthday. So you will see a few poems flying for me too, but I am a little shy about it. Last year there were 23 altogether. It got a little much for all the poor people reviewing. Oh another Debi poem. How exciting. LOL..
but I did appreciate them very much.
Thanks Patrick for this fun review. And I believe me, I will never forget you. In fact I already have the beginning started. You will be another fun one to write for. Thanks again, my awesome friend. Love, Debi

Hi Debi, this is such a fun and uplifting birthday poem to Father Flapps.
I like that he has walked 308 miles in the last seven month. Of note:
I'm proud to say this man is loved by everyone he knows
(I'm sure his wife is bursting with pride.)
Great YouTube picks. There's nothing left to say except
Happy Birthday, Father Flaps, may all your wishes come true.
It's now time to blow out the candles.
Best Wishes, Margaret ~ LateBloomer
Well done, Debi. Xo. M
