Beautifully written piece. I'm sorry you didn't get to enter it in the 3-6-9 contest but I'm glad we still had the chance to read it. Your words are so vibrant. I can almost feel the warmth of the sun as it spreads over the land. The picture you chose is perfect for the presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Yvette.
This is a fresh perspective on your creative process, crafting an ethereal poem about a familiar routine from a unique angle. You depict it as more than a sunrise, which is fitting. Very nicely done. Too bad you missed the contest entry.

Such a lovely performance that deserves a standing ovation! This is a beautiful ode to the dawn of a new day that brings opportunities and joy. Well said.

Your poem evokes much imagery, yet the picture you chose is lovely too. I especially loved that closing line -- indeed a sunrise does seem to crown the horizon, especially when there is nothing hindering those gorgeous rays of sunlight.

Beautiful poem with 3-6-9 verses that bring us from dawn to full sunrise. I could just hear Edvard Grieg's music playing "Morning's melodic sonata starts". Great musical metaphor that makes us "hear" the sunrise!

A lovely poem, accompanied by an excellent piece of artwork that goes well with it. Thanks for sharing. You are all getting me thinking I must get back to writing again.

This was a luscious symphony of images and emotions interwoven, like strings among the brass and winds, into a masterpiece. Melodic, rhythmic and evenly paced with the romping 3-6-9 X 3. Glorious!

This is beautiful. Your choice of words gives a sense of warmth. I think you've perfectly captured a sunrise. Wonderful word choices. Keep up the fantastic work; your ability to paint such a serene picture is truly delightful!

How can anyone say they do not believe in God when they see the image that you chose to complement your poem, your work speaks of the glory of God. Don
