It is so nice when someone wants to read you book and buys it! I sold all rights to my plays, but it was great to look online and see they were translated into a couple of different languages. Have a great time with those granddaughters and be glad you don't have to raise them. I raised four of mine, 3 boys and a girl, but I wouldn't give up those years for anything.

Things are so different now then they were when my kids were younger. They are busy going everywhere and how do you get them to all these places at the same time and stay sane. I am proud of what my granddaughter has accomplished, raising three girls on her own and becoming a top dog at Walmart.

It was my first sale person-to-person. Amazon has sold books, and I was my first customer three minutes after I was told it was published. Thanks so much, Marilyn.

You're a good salesperson for your book. I'm sure it's a great feeling when someone buys your book on the spot. You are your best advocate for selling the book. (My copy arrived yesterday and I began reading it immediately.) It's OK to stay on Cloud Nine for a while. LOL. Enjoy your great-granddaughters. Carol

Book stores or Amazon will never promote your book as well as you can. And the lady can say she met an author and bought her book. How cool is that?

I am sorry to hear you're having a bad day today, Rick. We all have some of those days at times. Usually, I would be home, most likely writing, by myself, but currently, I am in North Carolina visiting family. Take care!
