I sounds to me like you had such a wonderful time in the forces Cecilia and experienced so many wonderful moments. Horses are very intuitive and instantly know if the rider is inexperienced, it can be scary when a horse has a mind of its own and does not obey the rider. Few Americans have been to Australia as it is a long way to go. I am enjoying your interesting posts Cecilia, love Dolly x x x

My Panama story is a little scary. Not so much a good time.

There are two words that need to be changed: . . . never (ridden) a horse . . . and . . . beautiful (sight). Having raised seven children from three races, I don't think you need to mention that Mary was Black.

Thank you for the wonderful review. The only reason I mentioned she was black is my experience they are afraid of horses, cats, snakes and the what not. It had nothing to do with putting her down. The black friends I have are afraid of the above things and I think it's just the culture. Did you know some black men won't eat spaghetti sauce because they think you put your period blood in it to capture them.
This is just some of the things I learned from the black guys I dated.

They shouldn't be afraid, but a lot of them are. You raised you children and they didn't know and that's good.

Cecilia, I have to share a miracle that I experienced today; My grandsons girlfriends dog disappeared yesterday and they were both devastated. I prayed hard for a miracle from God That the dog would be found and not killed by a coyote or hit on the road. This morning I saw a slip of paper blowing near the road. I'm not sure why I decided to pick it up but I did and the note had an address and phone number that they had found a dog and to call if we were missing one!!! I felt the Holy Spirit in me and long story short, our "Lucy" was found.
I knew that my Ernest prayers were answered.
The day was a lot more frantic than I let on.

I would have to say that Australia was one of my favorite ports of call
Cecilia, I have to share a miracle that I experienced today; My grandsons girlfriends dog disappeared yesterday and they were both devastated. I prayed hard for a miracle from God That the dog would be found and not killed by a coyote or hit on the road. This morning I saw a slip of paper blowing near the road. I'm not sure why I decided to pick it up but I did and the note had an address and phone number that they had found a dog and to call if we were missing one!!! I felt the Holy Spirit in me and long story short, our "Lucy" was found.

For a person in the service, it sure seems like you had a lot of laughs, drinking and having fun on horses and such. And they paid you to do all that. What was your real job in the service? Just curious to know.

Thank you for the wonderful review. I was an aviation storekeeper. We did things like order parts, flight gear, supply, financials for the squadrons, aircraft inventories, and such.

I haven't read part one yet, but the story is entertaining. I noticed a few SPAGs (a few missing commas and whatnot) but on the whole, this is well-written and I like the easy-to-read font. Keep up the good work
