Wuthering Heights was a favorite book of mine when I was young and in school. I enjoyed your poem based from it. It was classic to Bronte. Good luck in the contest.

Well my dear, you have just proven that you should have much pride and no prejudice at all about writing a romantic, tear jerking, soulful poem. You have definitely wuthered the storm and scaled the heights in this period piece which is full of devoted love and heart wrenching loss. I am so happy for you to have stretched your wings and absolutely flown free and easy with this lovely piece. A six it deserves and a six it gets, for the rythmn, the scene you've painted and the feelings it described so vividly. Bravo my girl! Regards, Jan

Love that: "wuthered the storm" BEWDIFUL!! Gee, yer really making a great day even greater my friend with all your encouragement and lovely words. It's always great too when one of my countrymen likes what I've done. I'll be popping in as soon as I'm able - busy week ahead - to your portfolio m'dear to repay the favour! xoxoxoxoxo

This is a well crafted and effective poem. Imagery is sharp and effective, rhythm and rhyme work throughout, and
the content is interesting. I wouldn't change a word.

Well done.

come back to me - I search for you o'er land and sea - you have found such a longing voice here - you truly create a brooding tone, much in the spirit of Wuthering Heights
threatening, blackening nightscape looms - the mood is sure getting to me!

'Tis lovely, this poem is. Lovely words, lovely rhyme. OI can see the likening to Wuthering Heights as your wording follows a period piece. Even though the poem is a sad one, its beauty still shines through the darkness. Good job. mslyla
