Beth, Good glory, a condom raincoat for Barbie - hey, with Barbie's looks, she could use a bit of protection! LOL What a fun story that shows us just how cute, innocent, resourceful, fashion-conscious and deceptive our littles can be! LOL Brooke

Thank you Brooke, This one is one my daughter pulled. She actually wanted to make a Barbie raincoat from it. That is not quite as bad as one of my friend's granddaughters taking one to school for show and tell. I'm not sure what she told. LOL.

Brooke, Just out of curiosity, How did you know this was written by me? I thought the entries for this contest were supposed to be blind.

most of the things I review by reciprocating reviews - you review me, I reply to you, and then I click on your portfolio to find something of yours to review in return :-)
There are some contests where I know more than half the entrants because of this.

Cute little story. Perhaps Mommy and Daddy will buy "Raincoat Barbie" in the near future. Either that or start locking the nightstand! Only criticism was that it's happened many times in real-life; If it were me, I'd try to come up with something that might surprise the reader a bit more. Nice job none-the-less.

I'm sure this may have happened many times in real life. Fortunately, It has only happened once in my real life. Only one of my daughters thought it would make a nice raincoat. I won't tell you what I thought when I discovered a used one.
Thanks for the review.
Cheers

Hello
The innocence of a child is sometimes the horror of the adult...A very well written and cute story...It should do well in the contest.

Barbie only needs that raincoat if she's dating Ken.
Very nicely done for the theme of the contest. Pretty good point-of-view story. I could see a kid thinking exactly that way.
No grammar issues that I noticed. Good luck with the contest.
