They are amazing. I am awe struck at the way they fly though the air with such ease. I really like your poem. I especially like phrases like "poets of gravity" and "white grace airborne."

Really enjoyed this Rictameter poem! How well you described the Olympic skiers- which have always never failed to amaze me with their agility, and near-impossible flying 'grace'. Putting this altogether, counting syllables, is quite an amazing feat as well. Thank you for sharing your talent! Betty

Hi Tony. Welcome to fanstory. This place keeps me writing because of the instantaneous reviewa, good or bad, I learn a lot. "Romance." I like that work. I'm sort of enamored with the work and effort of those players. Have a blessed day!

Excellent! You captured the Rictameter poem perfectly and told the story exactly as the skiers do in the Olympic. It was right in harmony since the Olympics are currently on the TV. I'm sure that if the skiers could read this they would all shout in applause.

Those games have been a great inspiration for me as well. I admire people getting off their comfort zone and taking risks.

Thank you for reading this homage to those athletes jumping and twirling.

Excellent! No... exceptional! Even without the image, the reader is able to view the scene, hear the roaring of the crowd as they lean in their seats to view the spectacular jump that sends the skier into mid-air.

"poets of gravity" is a marvelleous line! How well it could also apply to sky divers. Like a diving thrush in the wind's rush... or something like that, it would be nice to see what you do with that as well! Something great I have no doubt. Well done indeed and so topical!

Flyers are the poets of gravity (nice line) and skaters are the songs on ice. This is a good job. I think that your fourth line is nothing uncommon and could have been more origonal, somehow. The rest of it is really well written.

Amada,
I have been awestruck and totally amazed at the abilities the Olympians present to us...Each and everyone of them deserve a medal for what they do...Great job in your poem as well.
