Hi Barbara,
Well, you certainly got the tension boiling in this one, but Joe and Cassie are still at the mercy of a bunch of now very desperate men. I suspect this will get bloddy before its over.
Well done.

A compelling read. Gripping and forward stinting. The characters are graced with enough realistic relativity that the reader can associate quickly his/her needs.

Wow! You're right about that picture. It fits your chilling story perfectly. This subject matter trouble be more than almost anything. Excellent, as always,

This is very well written, with clear and "believable" dialogue, except where the man took time to say "My mother country is Czech Republic." I would think, in a situation like this that, if anything, he would have just said, "Czech Republic" and left it at that. In my opinion, that would be much more direct and forceful. But then, I'm not a novelist. Good work.

When I was overseas, my husband was career army, I found many of the third world citizens, said their mother country. I think partly because they are relatively new countries. Thank you for your kind review.

Lots of action in this one, Barbara. I'm very excited to see Cassie alive. Good luck to George keeping Sarah away...that's not going to happen. lol. I pray your next treatment is a step closer to a full recovery. You are brave!
Is that Cassie? She'd never show that much breast or ass.
--this gave me pause. Would he really think this?

I have questioned that too, but I wanted to make a point of it. It will probably end up being deleted.

Congratulations Barbara! I'm so glad to know that the first phase of chemo is finish. My very best wishes and prayers with phase two.
This is another very good chapter, this is, as always, compelling. The story is very sad, very tragic, but so real... I look forward to your next 80 pages and your essay.
God bless you my friend,

I had to give this one a sixer because I like the action and the sniper taking out that creep tickled me to no end. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for the kind review. If my sniper keeps getting me 6's, I'll use him more often.

This was a great read from beginning to end, as usual. There is great tension to keep the reader reading. I look forward to the next chapter.
