Another good chapter, Barbara. Anxious to see what happens next. The way things go in the world today, it seems that "the bad guy" always wins.

Uh-Oh ... I don't like that idea at all, calling Everett to the stand. I hope the new lawyer doesn't trick him into hurting the case. I am anxious to see how this plays out. Another great chapter.

Great chapter, and an excellent place to end this. It keeps the suspense at a high level. Anna or any mom would feel tortured by all this upheaval in their lives.

This is well written from beginning to end, as usual. The question is, when will Anna have some peace in her life? Probably at the end of the book.

Great chapter and a great suspension pause as well. The progression of the story is steady and very similar to real events. Can't wait for the next one.

Another nail biting chapter, with a brilliant cliff hanger...Everett been called and treated as a hostile witness.
Poor Anna, thrown again into the constant state of trauma of having the Rogers constantly snapping at her heels and her happiness.
Another good post.

You did a good job in showing her anguish. The descriptions of her rubbing her stomach and wiping the tear off of her cheek helps paint the image of her pain.
Nice job thanks1

It is a good idea to end where you did. I am so eager to fine what is going to happen I can hardly wait. The chapter is basic information so ending it this way really works.
