Hi samandlancelot, I was going to review and comment, then realized we have no rats here where I live in Canada, never seen one in my life...love the picture with your story...captures it! Interesting/intriguing, would keep me up on my toes/chair...lol. turtledove, p.s. I have a cat named Sam, had her for nearly 15 yrs, she was a stray as well. Gotta love them... Yes, BC and Saskatchewan do have them but here in Alberta they got rid of them...many years ago...interesting/strange but probably a good thing...turtledove.

Holy crap! This is fantastic! A lot can be derived from these six words. A lot can be presumed. The writer must create just that in an exercise like this one: a statement that leads the reader to ponder, question, summize. Really well done. I loved it. (p.s. I also was born a rat: chinese horoscope)
