I like the way the story flows, the dialogue is good and easy to follow. I agree that I feel I am missing a lot of the story so I will go back and read it from the beginning. This is a nice piece. :)

Anna is truly a fighter and if anyone can respond to anything while in a coma it would be the cries of their child. Great job on this chapter.

Beautifully written, with dialogue that is believable and flows so well. It makes for a very easy read, even though the subject of the piece is quite difficult. You make the characters so real that the reader cares about them from the word go. I look forward to reading some more. Thank you for sharing your work.

Margaret, Betty, Troy, are believable characters in this story. I admire you for bringing more awareness to the reality of marriage abuse.

Hiya,
I would love to say you have the behaviour of the family right but I can't but what I can tell you for sure is that the family suffer a damn sight more than the patient. They have to wake up that is if they manage to get a few hours that they 'she' hasn't died then it turns to hope that she's woken, waiting for the moment they are told to come and say good bye, drinking endless cups of vendor coffee holding hands praying when you haven't prayed in years playing favourite sond and cd on loop being told that hearing is the last part of the body to go, machines going awry and been ushered out the room and your physically sick because you think the worst and the patient lies motionless in a locked world- a body that has shut down and has no contact thus no understanding of reality.
I know this because I have been in a coma twice, the longest being 5 months after contracting meningitis twice and I was obsessed about what was going on for them what happened because i didnt know it was blank I woke up thinking it was the next day.
This is really good chapter but was to some extent hard to read. I feel for Anna because it's hard when you come round there are a lot of questions and you can have complications. My only suggestion is that it might be worth having a go of padding it out a bit
Good job looking forward to the next installments xx
