First of all a big applause To you my dear for writing this wonderful " timeless classic" as I would cAll it. It's indeed a history chapter but very interestingly written that doesn't let us fall asleep. Like the king there in ... I hour you with the title poetic king. All the beat.

It was long, but it was a good read. I found myself getting totally absorbed in it. The ending was a surprise. I didn't see it coming at all. Somehow I was expecting the dragon to see as the owl did once he had her eyes. I guess that sort of happened, but not in the way I was expecting.

Such a wonderful story you tell. It's a tad long but I really didn't mind at all. You storytelling abilities are unbelievable and children will flock to hear them.

My, my, my. You have surely risen to the challenge that was thrown before you. A flowing, dizzying array of conflict, horror, humor, sadness and unfettered imagination. You have achieved a mammoth of epic proportion. Very well done. I should give you a six for sheer volume. Great!
Till the last amen

Very good and worth the read. I would have given this a six, but I've given all mine away. Thus I can only give five stars.
What is being said here is very truthful pertaining to truth and how one sees truth. There are many truths within this world that mankind can choose from. Yet all connected to this world are of one eye.
When one sees truth connected to God our Father, then one has opened both eyes, and thus through a pure heart and mind, can be free and comforted by the truth they cling to that takes them from this world and into the next, upon death in the flesh here.
There is a line in the Nag Hammadi, that simply states this; One must step into the darkness to see the light.
Many only see the lights that are of this world and thus never find the one and only light that looks beyond the darkness which is this world. For beyond the darkness of this world is a light that brings comfort and truth, mixed with freedom, love, charity and forgiveness. These are attributes that come naturally from ones heart and mind who seek teachings beyond the teachings of men and found only through a God, few seek or even know. My Heavenly Father.
God bless and keep up the great work.

Thank you so much Frank Atwood, for your wonderful review and insightful words...I am so glad you enjoyed my story and yes, this world requires only one eye to see but once both eyes are opened, truly opened, through a pure heart, then we see divine truth that is connected to God the Father...blessings.

I found nothing amiss in this long drawn out tale. I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm sure that the Dragon got what he deserved, and what a wonderful leader was the owl. Well done.

this is amazingly ambitious! Well done. It really engages the reader in the story and shows great imagination with the characters and the action. Fab. Bit iffy in places with the rhythm...sometimes I just had to read it twice to get the words in the right place! But it is minor, compared to all the great things going for it!

This is a very long poem but it flows well and is easy reading. It uses fantasy create a fable with a well needed human moral even for today. We need to use our hearts and minds as well as our eyes to truly see and understand how to live. Good begets good.
I think you hit about every mystical or mythical beast except the satyr and the faun. I thought centaurs were more on the good side and satyrs on the bad or mischievous side.

Well. no less than a six for your work. A wonderful story within your poem. Great imagery with the description of the monsters. SO much work has obviously gone into this. A pleasure to read through to the end. Great talent, with a clever twist at the end. Thank you for sharing x
