Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Since I like the form, the title caught my interest immediately. You did a great write with this one! And the artwork, in some magical way, adapts itself to the poem. You have unique talent and I sure am happy to have found a good poet whose work I admire. Elly

;) I have to admit, you are one of the best poets I have read on this site, so I look forward to your postings. Wish I always had a six to give because I don't think you turn out anything worth less!

This is a very well executed piece. The poem does explain the form very well. It is an entertaining poem. I appreciate the thought that went into your work.

I love Pantoums and enjoy the challenge
of writing them. Good job with this one as
you explain the form and its complexities.
Your lines flow beautifully.

Not yanking your chain when I say this- I wish I had a six. a pantoum about a pantoum, form writing form. "Pan pipes entomb a dual sense"- making the repeating line carry shades of meaning. " lines fixed in one climb up as rung"- the form building meaning, a gradual ascent due to repeating lines. "Tail engulfing the head" - circular nature of pantoums but also a commentary on this poem writing form about form. No Malay malaise her- just lots of wit.

This is a really clever poem, the Pantoum is a style I haven't tried, it looks to hard. Getting the lines to fit in each stanza, I admire everyone who can write them. I just might give it a go now. Well written and a pleasure to read. xsx Sandra

Well done Pantoum

The 2nd and 4th lines of each stanza are repeated as the 1st and 3rd lines of the next. Additionally, to complete the circularity, the 3rd and 1st lines of the poem become, respectively, the 2nd and 4th lines of the last stanza.

A cleverly done piece. It's fun to read and flows well and you did indeed instruct the reader through example of what a pantoum is. I must admit that I did have to read a couple of times to completely get the lesson. Well done.

Hi,
You have penned a very fine pantoum poem.
The refrain lines are very effective and cascade the effect you that you want to create.

Excellent use of alliteration as in:
Malay malaise
pan pipes

Excellent rhyming throughout,

The rhythm is consistent with 8 syllables a line and it makes the words flow well.

You did an excellent work!

I have enjoyed your poem and its unique genre. I like the repetition aspect but mostly that you are taking on ancient shreds of poetry and re-create it into something very valuable and meaningful. It appears that the human basic instinct, namely, interpretation which is a very strange but powerful phenomenon. Sometimes it takes time to see things from different angle and then it might appear that both interpretations we had oppose or complement- "The tail engulf the tail", or the tail bites the head, to use Nietzschean terminology. Thank you for doing this hard but very effective work of art. Cheers.
