Aussie. Your poetry is a well balanced write in rhyme, rhythm, and message telling us to keep the faith in all our affairs. God is already ahead of us as the two of us well know. To write about the Apocalypse is to re-enforce the message. Meanwhile you earn six stars and very favourable thoughts.

Alan, Thanks so much for reading - like minded we are. Yes, He is ahead of us and for the faithful, lets us know the dangers that we face. Blessings my friend, Kay XX

lifeline - I would make that one word
good internal rhyme in eyes to the skies
good alliteration in phrases like man-made, search for a sign, fear and falling, watch the weather, fear follows, Holy Hands, floods and fire
excellent use of abab rhyming
vivid detail of the catastrophes in life, which contrast effectively with the hope found in God
a most uplifting, reassuring message of faith :-) Brooke

This is a very powerful and inspiring poem, Aussie. You use strong imagery throughout to create a sense of urgency -- and I tend to agree that we have to start acting differently in so many ways in our lives. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in such a great way.
Warmest regards, Bev

This is lovely Kay, something everyone should read. We are slowly destroying everything God gave us, and as you say, Satan is having a good laugh. The climate has changed, and I am not only talking about the weather, we have changed and not for the better. You have written a powerful poem here, Kay! xsx Sandra

This is absolutely an awesomely written and anointed poem sent right straight from Heaven above. The gift of poetry is a gift from God and He uses those he gifts to be His mouth piece and His hands extended. Oh yes we love Him with our whole heart and so glad you do too. God loves you and so do we.

This is a nice poem, written in the quatrain style with good rhythm and rhyming throughout the poem. Has a nice picture to accompany the poem.

Hi Kay,
I love your poem AND your author notes. So many people don't believe that Satan exists; I wonder where they think all this evil and destruction is coming from? Certainly not from God!
I smiled when I opened this poem and saw Jesus holding the lamb, right across from you holding your little dog. Precious, both photos.
Love and hugs,
Lois

G'day Lois, Thank you so much for reading; some folks just don't get it and by the time they wake up - it will be too late! Blessed be my friend - hugs and lots of love from me across the sea! :-)

I like the passion coming from you. It takes time to get into the rhythm of the poem, but isn't that just like the effort it takes to learn to listen to the Saviour? I relate to this fervour yet it is also humbly conveyed. Thank you.
