Anupam, Wow, this is amazing! Thank you so much for adding the link to the movie soundtrack. I hadn't heard it. You are so right, listening to that first adds so much to your wonderful poem. But honestly, even without having heard the song, this would still be an awesome poem. Super job on this one. Have a good one, Judy

I was reading this and I started playing it to "Let it go" in my head even before I realized that it was supposed to be like that. I really like the poem, it goes with the tune well.

strong verb choices like engulf/choke add drama/emotional intensity to your poem
dread/darkness/dreams/dead - good alliterative grouping
effective rise/shine chorus
I love the positivity of your poem/song :-) Brooke

Very positive. Has an excellent flow. No awkwardness, as the message resonates loud and clear. Really like the chorus, which seems to pick up the tempo. Nice coda at the end. Well done! Les

Perfection or the quest for it freezes us. I would go as far to say that the quest for perfection is really a version of the fear of failure, leaving us frozen in a version of self that we can never hope to achieve. Congratulations on thawing out and making the commitment to live for something more attainable- happiness. Excellent song.

I had to give this a six, my first of the week. This is an amazing adaptation to the music of the movie. I am on the road as we speak and no proper access to the video. When I have time, tune into my heart, I will be singing along with you.
Wonderfully written, :-) Carolyn

Wow! Thank you so much for this lovely review and generous rating as you haven't heard the song yet. I'm sure you will just love it. Do remember to check it out. It will be very relaxing when you feel tired after the journey.
Enjoy the day! :)

I like this poem as a stand-alone one, perhaps as a song, with the bridge repeating. I haven't seen the movie or (believe it or not) heard the song. Now I suppose I shall have to. LOL.
Your poem does a beautiful job by itself, Anupam! Only one line troubles me -- and that only because it reminds me of another song: "Once I was lost" brings me to "the similar line in "Amazing Grace". Only for a moment does it draw me away from your poem. Then I come back.
A good and wholesome poem!

Thank you for this positive review, Jay. I would suggest you to surely check it out and there is no chance of you disliking it. Now, you believe it or not--I haven't about "Amazing Grace". I don't listen much to the Western music.
Enjoy the day! :)

Love this line full of promise and hope: My dreams will never be found dead. And I also like your use of repetition, I thought it made your message stand out strong and clear. There is lots of beautiful imagery in your lines.
