Those leaves float on our sighs too (though I love the fall). And if they are still around in winter, float back up on the hot air of our swears. Congrats on the win.

A beautiful write depicting the sensation and aura of autumn before our eyes.
The leaves take a final sigh and depart as with autumn.
In welcoming spring, autumn slowly fades away with the falling leaves for a while but will return again soon.
The final show of colors marking the end of autumn can make our hearts miss a beat.

Your use of words captures the feeling of Autumn and also paints a picture.Colors drip is an excellent use of words that shows Autumn as a verb,full of life. Congrats on winning the contest.

Such a lovely picture though your poem barely needs it for the word picture you conjure up is so strong in itself. "Leaves float on sighs" is a wonderful description capturing both the movement and the wistfulness. Much enjoyed!

you have all the components spot on

It'is a lovely picture and a poem. After Spring comes Autumn.
And during autumn as every bone knows the color of leaves are beautiful, red and gold...they tumble down reminding us that after Spring, comes Autumn. Congratulations.
