My niece has the same allergy; a sting can be fatal. I bit into a big mac at lunch one day (outdoors of course), and a it was harboring a yellow jacket. It stung me several times inside the mouth before I could chew or spit it. My head swelled like a melon, but fortunately, subsided within a few hours time. Its not wise to wear any perfumed scents if you're working outdoors. I think I've rambled long enough, already. Good luck in the contest. Kenny

Strong worded poem with such short number of words. Wish bees would pollinate my fruit trees. very scarce here. Best of luck .

LOL - how adorable this lune is - not exactly a fun thing to have happen, though. :) I do wonder about perfumes, and personally, there aren't a lot that appeal to me (too strong). Maybe that's what attracts little critters like your stinging bee. :) Best of luck in the contest!

Haha, that is a crazy bee. Not surprised they are attracted to perfumes. Making you lunch wasn't part of the plan. Great job. A good rhyme in the poem and flow. The artwork is related to the diction of the author's poem. Great job. Very simple and pure.

I guess that being lunch for a bee has its bad points. Wearing perfume sometimes confuses these creatures and some other insects. Good luck in the contest.

A lovely entry in this lune poetry contest! This is a bright cheery subject, that has a glow to it!, a good chance in this limiting poetic form! I like also the artwork which helps the narrative! Well done, blessings, Roy.

Nice little poem, from a real life event. I wonder if the bees actually think a person has pollen on them. Perhaps they sting people when they see that they've been tricked.

On the contrary, the contradiction
is that the bee gives rather than
takes a bite. Still, as a Lune it
fits the bill. The picture helps
things along nicely. Eric
